A photographer's dream...
Today I want to tell you guys about a street near Taipei Main Station where you can get some great photos. The stores here are full of LED lights, Chinese lanterns, and other decorations that make for great backdrops.
The photos in this post are all from one store because my photos from the others didn't turn out that well, but trust me when I say you'll have a good time shooting on this street.βββββββ

I am a bit limited as far as photography goes because or my lenses. I shoot with a 35mm prime and a full frame 28mm lens. These lenses are decent for up close street shots and medium scenery shots, but I just couldn't seem to get the angle I wanted with my lenses at this place.
However I know somebody with the right gear will be able to create awesome work at this place.

I've been focusing on street photography lately so I camped it out for a bit to see if I could get any good photos of pedestrians, but in like 40 minutes I only managed the shot below.

So I gave up on trying to get street shots and just triedΒ to photograph the neon lights for this post. I tried to spice up the photos a bit using multiple exposures.

Perhaps I'll come back here once I upgrade my gear and be able to do some portraits or something, but in the meantime I hope that any photographers reading this actually head out there to take advantage of this place.
Stores like this are dying out quickly so who knows how long you'll have.βββββββ
